Wedding and Party Wear For Every Occasion…

Ladies finally we are talking occasion wear at Selfridges in Oxford street, a shop you might associate with top end designers clothing, but it also has many mid range designer pieces, and high end high street labels, all of which are a good investment for your growing Summer wardrobe.

Many of you ask me what is appropriate to wear when you are a guest at a wedding party and whether there are any rules to follow..I would actually say that there are no rules, apart from avoiding to wear white if the bride is in white. It’s her special day after all.

Always remember to choose something that you feel comfortable in and don’t be afraid of choosing colour if you are used to wearing just black.

Where would you suggest someone who is apple shape & size 24 should shop please? Everyone always avoids dressing apple shapes as it’s so difficult to do. I’m aged 63 & like to dress classically but in bright colours & its soooo difficult. M & S have a few things but Evans are not so good on quality & have a lot of t shirt material tops which are not good on the apple shape as too clingy!
