This morning was a little all over the shop, but I hope you got some good tips out of it…I talked about my routine, tried out some new high-end and low-end beauty products, and then we did one of my favourite things to do when I’m inspired…shopping in my wardrobe after looking at the fashion week trends in Grazia and other magazines.
Below are all the products I mention:
Julia Hunter is one of my favourite discoveries, I have been using her range for over two years. She believes in peeling and exfoliation to resurface the skin, which results in a vastly improved skin texture (more info on her philosophy in this old post). I use Julia Hunter’s evening routine religiously, and feel it is the first range to have a long-term impact on my skin texture. This product deeply cleanses and I would say it is safe to use for any skin type, from the most sensitive to the oily and acne-prone. More on Julia Hunter’s products in my Night Time Regime post here.
C E Ferulic is one of the best products to put on a tired face, we all know how beneficial a strong dose of Vitamin C does as a pill (I take 3000 mg a day) but on the face it’s a great wake up. CE Feurulic by SkinCeuticals is one of my top three to reach for. It’s worth spending money on a good Vitamin C as you need to find a brand that knows what its doing, i.e dark glass bottle or preservation, ground down pure powder (Dr Julia Hunter or Dr Sebagh).
This serum has a wonderful texture, and is easily absorbed. The M&S website mentions 20 ingredients to help us women, but nothing in more details…..really irritating, but a good base for a moisturiser/foundation if your skin is oily.
Micro needle roller system is great for large pore reduction, dark spot reduction, wrinkles, damaged tissue repairing, stimulating collagen production, improving skin elasticity, acne scar removal and more…see more detail here.
Rich balm designed for dry mature skin, and the smell is the typical lemony smell by Vichy. This soft balm leaves skin feeling smooth and nourished; can’t really tell you the ingredients as they are not easily listed, but I did feel that my skin felt a little less dry, and plumped afterwards.
